I’m a strong believer in putting in the work. Not busy work, but smart and productive work that leads to systemic change. This is true both in business and in my personal life. If you want a better, stronger community to live and work in, find like minded people and take action. That’s why I’m so proud of all the active community members who worked to create a co-op grocery store that opened two years ago.
Company Shops Market was and is a spearhead for change in downtown Burlington and we have seen a rippling effect of new life, new interest and new growth in Burlington’s historic downtown. This year I was elected to their board and I am honored to put in the work to make our town a better place to live and a better place to work.
8/24/13 “What a great group to work with. We had our annual Company Shops Market Coop board retreat yesterday. The success of our coop depends on both a great GM and a strong board. We’ve got both and I’m excited about the future of our store. For my friends in Alamance County, if you are not an owner please join the excitement. Our store that connects you to LOCAL food. ” ~ Eric Henry
